Hiring at The Acne Spot

  • Esthetician

    The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

    • 2 or more years of Recent Hands-on Esthetic Experience
    • Energetic, Personable, Team Player
    • A love for Esthetics and clearing ACNE!
    • Communicates in a positive and professional way with clients (especially teens!)
    • Communicates our company culture and values in every interaction
    • Ability to work with a team and support team values
    • Reliable, honest, drama-free
    • Pays attention to detail and is task-oriented
    • Teachable and Coachable attitude - our Skills Training Program is extensive and will teach you how to grow your Esthetic career with us!
    • BONUS: Face Reality experience

    Confidence and experience in the following is required for this position:

    • Extractions
    • Computer and tablet Experience (we are paperless!)
    • Retail sales and educating clients on products for their skin type
    • Attention to Detail for client notes and treatment planning

    Position Specifics:

    • Tuesday- Saturday
    • Flexible (20-35)
    • Please do not apply if your availability does not allow you to work some evenings and Saturdays.
    • We pay hourly based on experience and training level.

  • Front Desk Coordinator

    As a Front Desk Coordinator, daily tasks will include:

    • The first to greet clients
    • Check clients in and out
    • Open and close the clinic
    • Use our Point-of-sale to ring up sales and reserve appointments
    • Heavy phone answering and client interaction
    • Keep the skin care clinic running smoothly, including assisting with spa laundry and some light clean up
    • Assisting Service Providers

    The ideal candidate for Front Desk Coordinator will have the following traits:

    • 2+ years of Front Desk experience
    • 2+ years of Hospitality/Customer Service experience
    • 2+ years of phone experience
    • Ability to maintain organization and professionalism in a busy lobby
    • Energetic, Personable, Team Player with a love for skin care
    • Can easily communicate in a positive and professional way with clients
    • Pays attention to detail and is task-oriented- Must be organized!
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Computer (MAC) and tablet experience
    • Salon/Spa Software experience a plus (Millennium/Meevo 2)
    • Comfortable with Retail sales and educating clients on products (we will train you!)
    • Must be confident and comfortable with heavy client and phone interaction
    • Teachable and Coachable attitude

    Hours Available:

    • PT and FT available, some Evenings and Saturdays required
    • Shifts available Tues-Sat
